🔬 About the Role

CGD Consulting is hiring an experienced Lab Technician to support material engineers and conduct laboratory testing of construction materials, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Material Engineer and work independently when required.

  • Conduct and supervise lab testing of construction materials (soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregates).

  • Perform on-site testing (soil stability, compaction, moisture content, geotechnical parameters).

  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports.

  • Provide technical guidance on materials, testing procedures, and quality assurance.

  • Monitor construction activities for safety, quality, and environmental standards.

  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.

  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality-related issues.

  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.

🎓 Qualifications

  • DAE Civil / Materials required.
