🔬 About the Role

As a Microbiologist, you will ensure food-grade product testing, environmental monitoring, and compliance with quality standards. You will work in a continuous operational facility, performing special analysis, audits, and documentation under the supervision of the Lead Microbiologist.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Laboratory Testing & Calibration – Perform microbiological analysis, maintain equipment, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Environmental Monitoring – Execute and reassess Environmental Monitoring (EM) program.

• SAP Data Entry – Accurately record data and report non-conformance.

• Audits – Assist in internal and customer audits for compliance with quality and accreditation systems.

• Documentation & Records – Maintain SOPs, calibration standards, and lab records as per ISO and IMS.

• Compliance – Ensure adherence to ISO 17025:2017 and IMS regulations.

• Training & Development – Support performance management and staff development initiatives.

🎓 Requirements

• B.S (Hons) or MS (Hons) in Microbiology or Food Sciences

• 1–2 years of experience in QA/QC microbial laboratory (Food/Pharma/Chemical industry)

• Proficiency in English

• Skills in microbial analysis, instrument calibration, physical assessments

• Knowledge of SAP, Office tools, Six Sigma

• Understanding of ISO 17025:2017 standards

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
